Spa Therapist

Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa is seeking four Spa Therapists for placement at the spa location at 4359 Main Street, Whistler, BC. This is a permanent full-time position.

Main duties include:

• providing traditional Javanese massage

• providing traditional healing treatments

• providing traditional and western body care treatments

• providing esthetic services such as manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing

• schedule and confirm appointments and receive payments

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a vocational certificate in spa therapy or massage therapy; and

• Minimum 1 year of professional appropriate massage spa experience, preferably with Javanese style massage treatment.

Salary:

• $38.50 per hour for minimum 30 hr/wk.

• Overtime and vacation in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act. 

• Employees have the option to take employer arranged accommodations and meal plan in shared house. (Costs payable to the employer). 

Language:

• No particular language is needed to perform this work; however, basic English language or Javanese language is an asset.
